40Y Porsche Design Studio

A new exhibit at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany, pays tribute to the Porsche Design Studio on the occasion of its 40th anniversary. The studio was founded in 1972 by Ferdinand Porsche, turning out a range of luxury goods, spanning classic men’s accessories (sunglasses, writing implements and pipes), a grand piano and the Chronograph I, the world’s first black timepiece. Additionally, visitors will gain insight into the everyday creative process of the studio’s designers, starting at the conception stage all the way to the end product. Continue reading for a video overview of the exhibit, which is scheduled to run until February 2013.
